Profoundly

From a concept to a $40k a month demand engine in twelve months.

Profoundly had a strong idea and an early product, but no engine underneath it. As outsourced CMO and CRO, we built and scaled the demand engine end to end inside HubSpot.

The situation

A strong idea, an early product, and no engine underneath it.

Profoundly is a demand marketplace built inside the HubSpot ecosystem. The idea was strong and the early product was real. What was missing was the system that turns a promising concept into consistent, repeatable revenue.

Demand was thin and inconsistent, around two projects a week with no reliable way to increase it. Almost nothing was converting, roughly one job won every two weeks. And revenue had no model behind it, sitting at about $3k a month with nothing repeatable driving it.

A marketplace only works when three things move together: enough of the right demand coming in, a conversion process that turns it into won work, and a revenue model that makes the whole thing pay. None of the three was working yet.

The problem wasn't the idea. It was the absence of a system around it.

What we did

Built and scaled the demand engine end to end, inside HubSpot.

Connect demand, conversion and revenue into one measurable system, then scale it.

01 · Demand
Build a high-intent demand engine

Consistent, repeatable inbound volume, rather than sporadic one-off projects.

02 · Conversion
Rebuild the conversion system

Sharper qualification, matching and positioning, so more of the right jobs closed, not just more jobs in total.

03 · Revenue
Design the first real revenue model

A LeadFlow plus commission model that turned activity into predictable, scalable income.

The outcome

A proven, scalable demand engine, and a credible path to exit.

Profoundly went from an early-stage concept to the primary demand engine within its corner of the HubSpot ecosystem. More importantly, the business now has a clear monetisation model and a credible path toward exit.

The numbers grew, but the bigger shift was structural. Demand, conversion and revenue now work as one connected system, rather than three separate problems.

Why this matters

Most early-stage businesses don't stall on the idea.

They stall because there's no system turning the idea into repeatable revenue. A strong concept brings in the occasional project. A demand engine brings in consistent, qualified work, converts more of it, and pays for itself through a model built for scale. When demand, conversion and revenue are designed as one system, growth stops being sporadic and starts being predictable.
